Things to do in and around Calistoga
Calistoga’s location in the upper Napa Valley makes it convenient to many of Northern California’s state parks, beaches and historic sites, not to mention some idiosyncratic small towns. Napa County wineries are no more than a 45 minute drive, but Calistoga is just as close to Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino Counties and just over an hour’s drive from the ocean. Relax here and take day trips to some of the unadvertised highlights of Northern California. Below is a list of some these less famous places, offered as an alternative way to explore the area and not as an endorsement.
