The Classics

Calistoga Pottery is lead-free, microwave and dishwasher-safe, intended for everyday use.  It is available in the seven glazes shown here and in combinations of these glazes. The shapes pictured are of those pieces which we and you have returned to again and again. We show them here so that we have a common language in which we can communicate about glaze and shape. If you are interested in ordering any of them we will want to know how many, which glaze, which shape (by name) and whether you would like Sally to inlay drawings such as the animals on the mugs. Each piece is thrown by Jeff, then glazed by Sally. We do not take any orders from the internet, preferring to have a conversation before starting work. There will always be some variation in each piece. That is the nature of hand-thrown pottery. We need to have at least eight weeks lead time for special orders, more for dinnerware and much more if we are evacuated again.

Sometimes we have what you are asking for in stock. We will confirm this with a photo sent by email, then arrange pick-up ship UPS.
