Jeff and Sally Manfredi have been making pottery together for almost 40 years at their present location on Highway 29 in the Napa Valley town of Calistoga, California. The studio is on the left side of Highway 29 (which we cal Foothill Boulevard)as you enter Calistoga from the south, seven miles north of St. Helena. We have a map at visiting the pottery . Sharing an affinity for food and cooking as well as a love of pottery-making they have specialized in useful shapes in a variety of food-safe glazes. Their pottery is lead-free, microwave and dishwasher safe. You will find their pieces in use at local wineries, restaurants, inns and homes (see links in “Used locally by”).

Visitors are welcome. You will usually find us at work and we will probably be delighted to take a break to reflect on the events of the day. Please call first if you would like to bring children to decorate our pots or would like us to make a hand- or footprint plate for a baby. We are open Monday-Saturday from 9am-5pm, Sunday by appointment. Please call us at 707 942 0216 to make any special arrangements. Closed for all major holidays.o

Shipping is available. Parking is limited so please consider walking here from downtown, it’s six blocks if you start at the far side of town! We happily accommodate people with dogs and children.

New message to all of you from our town of Calistoga: we are back, the smoke has cleared, and we look forward to seeing you. To that end, let me announce that our 37th ANNUAL SALE commences Friday, November 17 and ends on Saturday, December 2. During these two weeks everything on our shelves will be reduced 20% as always. Please take a look at FB/Calistoga Pottery for deals and offers from my friends and fellow merchants here at the North End of Napa Valley. We cannot thank you enough for your support.
